Who is Screamin' Demons Sports Group: Screamin' Demons Sports Group offers athletes the opportunity to participate in baseball/softball in a travel organization format. Travel Baseball/Softball is an avenue for boys/girls ages 7  to 18+ to play in competitive tournaments and get advanced training.

What is the player cost for Screamin' Demons Sports Group:  The cost for 2025-2026 season will be $850.  This includes team uniforms, helmet, 5 tournament entry fees, insurance, practice facility, practice/training, administration expenses, website, accountant & rental facilities. If a team elects to participate in additional tournaments there maybe additional expenses to enter into additional tournaments. Often Teams/Coaches will obtain sponsors to cover additional tournament costs. 

Is there a fee to tryout: No, Screamin' Demons Sports Group does not charge a try-out fee. 

Are there payment plans:  Yes, the typical payment schedule is as follows: Deposit $425 is due upon accepting position in organization and is non-refundable. The balance is due by December 1st.

What is the length of the season:  The fall season starts in September. Each team may participate more in Fall Tournaments if the team elects to do so. Practices will run throughout the year. Each coach determines individually when and how much they will practice throughout the off-season. Summer Tournaments will start mid May pending age groups and will continue throughout the summer months. 

When are practices:  Team practices are scheduled typically 1-2 times per week, lasting between 1.5-3 hours, focusing on skills like hitting, fielding, pitching, and team strategies. Practices are usually held on fields rented by the team or at local facilities, often in the evenings or weekends to accommodate players' schedules. The schedule varies based on the season, with more intense practices leading up to tournaments. Coaches communicate the schedule based on their individual preference, and players are expected to attend consistently to prepare for competitive games against other regional or national travel teams.

When and where are tournaments: Tournaments start in September while summer schedules typically start in May. Coaches will arrange when/where the tournaments are that they plan to participate in.  

How long are the tournaments:  Tournaments typically are anywhere from 1-3 Days. 

Can athletes play other sports:  Yes.  Managing multi-sport athletes within the team involves clear communication, flexible scheduling, and prioritizing player development. Coaches will coordinate with athletes and parents to balance practice and game schedules across sports. Practices may be adjusted to avoid conflicts, like focusing on key softball skills during shared time slots. Encourage athletes to communicate commitments early, ensuring they can participate in tournaments without overexertion.

Is there a discount for multiple athletes from the same family: There is no discount for multiple athletes from the same family.
